Chalet Samuraj is a traditional Swiss chalet in an envious sunny location, close to the slopes and the village centre, whilst enjoying magnificent views of the village and mountains.
The ski slopes are a short walk through the village, although the adventurous may wish to take the shorter direct route to the Stafelwald blue run. We recommend keeping your skis and boots at one of the boot rooms near the lifts to make life easier for you at the beginning and end of each day. If you do this, you can enjoy the après ski and shopping without the worry of carrying your equipment back to the chalet with you. Storage for skis and boots is available at the chalet for those that want to ski in and out.
Chalet Samuraj guests will have access to the discount arrangement we have with one of the largest ski hire providers in the village and this also allows free access to an underground boot and ski locker right next to the ski meeting point at the foot of the slopes. We also have special discount agreement with Optimum Snowsports, who are one of a small number of ski and snowboard schools in the village.
The living area benefits from a 3D LED television with cable tv, showing a large selection of international tv channels. A DVD player is available with a large selection of DVD’s to choose from covering a wide choice of genre. For those music lovers with phones or tablets there is a Bluetooth compatible BOSE™ SoundLink speaker in the open plan living area. The kitchen is fully equipped, open plan and has a Nespresso coffee machine to make your own delicious espresso or latte coffee. To make you feel totally cosy, there is a large log fire which opens onto the dining and sitting areas. The chalet has underfloor heating throughout. There is Wi-Fi access throughout the property.
The chalet has a large south and west facing patio area with table and chairs to enjoy a drink or read a book watching the sun set. The upper level also has large south and west facing balconies which are enjoyed by all but one of the 5 bedrooms.
A utility room with separate washing machine and tumble drier is available for guests use.
Upstairs, are 5 bedrooms:
Felskinn - Access to the large south and west facing wrap around balcony as well as an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The bed can be arranged as a King sized with a single duvet or Swiss double with separate single duvets as required by guests.

The chalet is fully equipped for self-catering, but there are many restaurants in the village all of which are good and a few are exceptional. They range in style from traditional local dishes to one or two of the finest restaurants in Switzerland. A guide is provided in your chalet welcome pack.
The chalet is in an elevated position and may present challenges for families with prams or physical disabilities.
For the comfort of all, smoking and pets are not permitted in the property.
